Job Groups & Army Limits Explained

Understanding age limits is crucial. Central Govt posts are divided into Groups (A, B, C, D) while Defence has its own strict criteria.

1. Defence & Army (Strict Limits)

Agniveer: 17.5 to 21 Years. (Note: No relaxation is usually given for Category in Agniveer).
NDA: 16.5 to 19.5 Years. Unmarried candidates only.
CDS (Officer): 19 to 24/25 Years depending on academy (IMA/OTA).
